It will run three days per-week, with three weeks of classroom training and two weeks’ experience running a stall at Leicester Market.

“Offering people opportunities for hands-on experience of running a market stall, alongside formal classroom training, is one way we feel will get more people interested in market trading,” said Adam Piotrowski, Leicester City Council’s Market Development Officer.

“Running a stall can be a daunting prospect. This new training course aims to overcome that and ensure that the Market continues to attract fresh entrepreneurial talent for years to come.”

An information and enrolment session will take place at Jobcentre Plus, Wellington Street (LE1 6DS) on Monday 23 October between 1.00pm and 4.30pm.
