Huge Easter Giveaway & Opening Hours
The traders at Leicester Market are celebrating Easter this year by offering their customers a free chocolate egg on Easter Saturday!
While you’re picking up everything you need for a fantastic Easter Sunday lunch from the Food Hall and the fruit & veg stalls, you’ll be able to pick up a chocolate treat for yourself too.
The traders have got hundreds of eggs to give away on Saturday 20 April to say thank you to shoppers at Leicester Market.
This year will see Leicester Market take a break from running its annual Easter Bonnet competition, with traders eager to show wider appreciation to shoppers at this time of year and join them in celebrating Easter.
Speaking on behalf of the traders, Paddy Deevey of P. Deevey’s Fruit & Veg stall said: “We want to wish our customers a very happy Easter and thank them for shopping at Leicester Market.
“The Easter Bonnet competition has been something we’ve done for a number of years; however this year we wanted to do something a little bit different to show how valued our customers are. It’s a small token of our appreciation, but I hope it’s one that shoppers will enjoy.”
Free chocolate eggs will be handed out to customers making a purchase at Leicester Market on Saturday 20 April – but the advice is to come early as there will be a limited number of chocolate eggs available.
Easter opening hours at Leicester Market are as follows: Outdoor Market 8am – 4pm; Food Hall 9am – 5pm.
The Market and Food Hall will be open as usual on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, but will be CLOSED on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
Thereafter, the Market and Food Hall will re-open as usual on Tuesday 23 April.
