Are You Ready for the Final Makers’ Market of 2017?
Following a hugely successful series of initial specialist markets, the Makers’ Market is set to return to Leicester Market’s new Market Square on Sunday 5 November – the final market of its kind in 2017 – with more traders set to offer shoppers in Leicester something unique and truly special.
A new series of monthly specialist markets, the Makers’ Market showcases the talents of some of our county’s most exciting makers and creatives who make, bake, create and source the products they sell right here in Leicestershire, which ensures their goods are uniquely ‘brand Leicester’. And, with Christmas just around the corner (we know, but it IS the last Makers’ Market of the year), it provides a perfect opportunity to pick up that special gift!
Organised by FU Media in partnership with Leicester Market, the Makers’ Market will run between 11am-4pm in Leicester’s newest public space, Market Square, which is located behind the Corn Exchange.
The market will also feature regular workshops and demonstrations, so you can get involved and, who knows, you may even discover a hidden talent of your own! Music and other entertainment will also regularly animate the square.
